An arborist in hi-vis orange working part-way up a tall gum above a brick home

A climber, not a bloke with a chainsaw.

Orana Tree Care is run by Luke, working on trees around Dubbo and surrounding areas. Ropes, harness, saw, and a clean site at the end of it.

Luke standing on a cut trunk in hi-vis orange and a climbing harness

You get Luke, start to finish.

The person who quotes the tree is the person who climbs it. That is the whole business. No sales call, no crew you have never met turning up on the day, no one guessing at the price from the kerb.

It is why the reviews read the way they do. One customer had a tree hanging over the roof and wrote that Luke “safely remove(d) the problem tree” and “did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards”. Another simply calls it “excellent quality work”. That is the standard, whether it is one dead limb or a whole gum.

See what Luke does

What you can count on.

Controlled, not dropped

Limbs are roped and lowered rather than felled and hoped for, which is what keeps a removal off your roof, your fence and your garden beds.

Cleaned up properly

The job is not finished when the tree is down. Timber is cut, the mess is raked out and the yard is left the way you would want to find it.

One person to deal with

Luke quotes it, Luke climbs it, Luke answers the phone. Nothing gets lost between an office and the crew.

A climber balanced out on a heavy gum limb with a saw

Inland trees are their own problem.

Gums around Dubbo drop limbs in the heat, split in the wind and lean over houses that were built long after the tree went in. Knowing which branch is the one to take is most of the job.

How a job actually runs.

01

Send a photo

Text a picture of the tree or have Luke come and look at it. You get a clear price and no pressure either way.

02

Set it up

Ropes go in, the drop zone gets cleared, and anything underneath – fence, shed, pool – gets worked around before a saw is started.

03

Down in sections

Luke climbs and takes it apart piece by piece, lowering the heavy timber instead of dropping it.

04

Cleared out

Wood is cut up, the ground is raked and the green waste goes. You come home to a yard, not a worksite.

In their own words.

We asked Luke to remove a tree over hanging our house which was going to cause damage to our roof if it got left much longer to grow. Not only did he safely remove the problem tree, but he also did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards. Very reasonable prices, very professional and friendly service. I would highly recommend Luke if you are seeking tree removal or even just having some branches cut back. Luke know's his stuff and is more than dedicated!
